Seriously Just WHY?

I've been meaning to post this up ever since I saw the picture below like two weeks ago but I really do have a memory like a fish (something I'm constantly battling with but fail miserably) so forget things at times. Plus I'm getting to go to university soon so kinda been occupied with that!

If you guys have been following my blog then you properly remember me posting an entry a while back entilted Just Why?
If you want to have a look at it to remind yourself or just to look at it here is the link

Bai Ling.

I still don't know what she is famous for *a bit like Kim Kardashian...oh sorry I forgot she is a "style icon" I cringed when I heard that*

I'm starting to think it is for her horrible dress sense I'm sorry if this sounds mean but it is just absolutely horrendous!

She did it again...why doe she continue to torture the public with her "personal" style?

Seriously
JUST WHY?

She needs a personal stylist as soon as possible there is being invidual and there is taking it to far!

Inspiration - Who Inspires You?

I recently become a fan of Zoe Badley’s blog called QQUEEN OF HEARTS. Catching up her blog today I came across this entry about inspiration
http://qqueenofhearts.blogspot.com/2010/09/inspiration-who-influences-you-1.html ...I started to wonder who my inspiration is and how they influence me to do the things I do.
(Please read some of her other blog entries if you have time she seems like a cool person even if I don’t really know her...)

*Plus her sense of personal style is A-MAZ-ING you can do nothing but like someone like that ...pretty and can dress what more can you ask for in a person!*

In Zoe’s blog she wrote the following:

“Inspiration takes many forms. It can be the rise and fall of a lover's chest while they sleep or the summer night you laid alone, watching the stars fall. It can be that one song which, without fail, makes you cry every single time. An inscription inside an old novel, so worn out that you can barely understand the words. A love letter that's tucked away in a dusty shoe box, hidden in the linen closet. Or maybe it's the change of seasons, when everything feels right and nothing hurts. Whether it's fleeting, brief or ever-lasting; there's no limits to its influence.”

I have always wondering where I get my influences to do most of the things I do then I realised why I couldn’t pinpoint where the inspiration came from.

It is simply...

I get it from everything and everywhere
AROUND me. Some people can openly say that one particular person or book or whatever it may be is their inspiration but I can’t. I prefer to draw it from different things that I see, hear, read and witness. So for that reason I don’t have an inspiration but instead I have several inspirations and each and every one of them is equally as important as the last or next place that I draw it from.

But what inspires you?

I would be really interested to hear everyone different influences.

Oh just before you leave this page take four minutes to watch the video below...it makes you really see the bigger picture what is actually important in life.

Sorry...Just a Five Lettered Word?

I'm sorry.

I don’t know what I’m saying sorry for but I’m really sorry. But do you guys see where I’m going with this. Do you see how easy it is to say sorry to someone without actually meaning it?

Only God knows how many times I have apologised without meaning it because it seemed like the easier option. (I know you can all agree with me on that)
Classic example: I’m sorry I’m late...You’re not really sorry (or maybe you are?!) but you say it because it seems like the best and simplest way to solve the issue and avoid arguments.

It seems like word that once had so much genuine meaning has completely lost its value. It’s quite frustrating (and a little sad) that if someone says sorry to you now you have to question if they actually mean it or if they are only saying it because it is the easier option.

One way I think we can show the people we are about that we are truly sorry about how our actions or words (or both) have upset them is to
SHOW IT!
Sounds easy right? WRONG!!

One of the ways I’m going to try to show the ones I love and care about that I’m really sorry from now on is to express it through my thoughts, words and actions...
*I’m trying to follow my own advice before people think I’m trying to tell them what to do without doing it myself*

This means if let say for example sake I said something hurtful (my friends and family would argue that I’m not the most tactful person...I argue I just speak my mind arguably a bit too much sometimes...) to a friend and I hurt their feelings I would have to find a way to show them how sorry I was for hurting them.
But do not do it if...

1. You only going to use it as a substitute for actually having to say the words
2. It will please or make the person feel better

The only thing that will make the person feel better is a sincere apology
(and maybe I’m being a little bit *okay a lot* subjective here but oh well! I’m sure there are some of you that agree with me on this...)

Then it is up to the person to decide if they actually want to accept your “I’m sorry” or as I would like to see it from now on your gesture of apology.

Saying sorry is only half of it there is a lot more to it than just saying the words.

If all else fails just say sorry...
